The first round out of four races throughout the entire summer was held at the huge track of AMC-Lahntal. Some drivers arrived already on Saturday to practice at the track and to find a good setup for their car and engine. Unfortunately some rain clouds made the track conditions change a lot on Saturday. The race started on Sunday and the weather was just perfect for racing. No clouds and sun all over the day.
The qualifiying started at 9:30. The track was still a bit wet on some paths so some drivers decided not to start.
Q2

In group 1 Dirk Wischnewski was able to set the fastest time over 5 minutes he run 19 laps in 5:04,554. In group 2 Dennis Sting was able to make a clean run with also 19 laps in 5:13,154.
VG8KL1
Group 3 was dominated by Norbert HĂĽgel with 19 laps in 5:05,133. Philip Sting won Group 4 with 20 laps in 4:54,078, unfortunately he missed the 21 laps.
VG8KL2
In group 5 Alexander Mehl made a run with 20 laps in 5:08,926. Torben Reuels won the 6th group, I have to say he didn´t run any high tuned engine, he used a 'standard' ProStockSeries engine.
Q3
VG10Scale
In Q3 Jannick Namyslo won the first group with 18 laps in 5:03,286. Group 2 won Thilo Tödtmann with a 19 laps in 5:04,206. Thilo also TQed with this run.
VG8KL1
Group 3 won Dominik Schrumpf with a 20 laps in 5:02,549 run. Patrick Schäfer dominated group 4 with 21 laps in 5:07,047.
VG8KL2
In group 5 Wolfgang Hederich showed a good performance with 20 laps in 5:14,537. Group 6 won Steffen Kunzel with 19 laps in 5:00,868.

VG10Scale
After 20 minutes of nice racing Mirco Thalheimer won the race with 69 laps in 20:01,653. Marcus May and Chris Grenz bumped up to the final, too.
VG8KL2
Paty Schuster showed a great pace in his half-final and won it with a gap of 4 laps. Besides him also Josef Dragani and Frank Wittke bumped up.
1/2 final A
VG10Scale
Florian MĂĽller won the half-final with three-quarters of a lap. Besides him David Ranft and Andreas Schuch bumped up to the main final.
VG8KL2
Markus Friedrich won his final with a big gap of 4 laps. Also Frank Peppler and Thomas Namyslo bumped up for the final.
Finals
VG10Scale
Dirk Wischnewski was able to overtake TQ Thilo Tödtmann after a few laps and kept the lead until the end. Dennis Sting could overtake Thilo because of technical problems, too and kept the 2nd place until the end of the race. Jannick Namyslo close the gap to Mirco Thalmeier on his 3rd place. Mirco had a 6 min pit strategy so Jannick had to push a lot because he had to refuel every 5 minutes. 2 minutes before the end Jannick was able to overtake with his NT1 and took the 3rd place until the end.
VG8KL1
Patrick Schäfer started from the pole position. Philip Sting who started from the 2nd position was able to hold the gap to Patrick all the time. After 20 minutes Mr. Schäfer got technical problems, so Philip got the chance to overtake him and made the chance real. He took the lead for the rest of the race and made a big gap to the 2nd place. Olaf Engelmann finished the race on 2nd position. Dominik Schrumpf crossed the finish line as 3rd.
VG8KL2
It was Torben Reuels first race since 2005 and he was able to make a start-to-finish victory with his RX8. After some trouble a few corners after the start Torben lost one rear shock, but was still able to hold to lead and made the gap to 2nd even bigger â“ Respect! The second place took Markus Friedrich with a gap of 3 laps to Torben. Wolfgang Hederich finished 3rd.
